An open-plan, elegant and functional office exists
This is how Rocamora Diseño y Arquitectura refurbished this workplace where technical wood was used to create new spaces and storage areas.
“The wood in this project brings elegance and functionality to a workspace designed to be used by a large number of people”.
Ángel Rocamora, architect.
Ángel Rocamora's studio faced a great challenge with the renovation of these offices, in that it had to solve the problem of the interior section where most of the exterior enclosures were made of glass. Technical wood was the solution chosen to overcome this problem and generate new spaces and storage areas.
In addition to the technical qualities, what aesthetic and sensory elements does wood bring to this project? "It provides elegance and functionality in an office designed for the transit of a large number of people”, argues Rocamora.
For this project, black Fibracolour has been used to give uniqueness to the whole environment. We can appreciate the application in the wall panelling, doors, lockers and furniture. “By choosing this material, we ensured that all the storage was integrated and that a complete and open-plan vision of the spacewas generated”, explains Rocamora.
The studio values Finsa's support as “a guarantee of quality in the material”. In addition, Rocamora highlights the “wide variety that allows the design of any special element to be incorporated both in the project and in the works”.
