Enxeño+ will therefore implement digital solutions and technologies adapted to the reality of the Ourense plant, this being the Group's reference plant in panel manufacturing, and which will serve as a reflection for the rest of the Group's plants in terms of transition to SmartFactory. The technologies developed in the project may be adapted, scaled and deployed in other plants of the group, both in Galicia and in the rest of Spain and Europe, assuming a global solution that can also be transferred to other industrial sectors.
To this end, five lines of action are proposed; Sustainability, smart manufacturing technologies, sensorization and connectivity in predictive maintenance, smart logistics and cybersecurity. The final objective pursued is to implement a new Smart Factory model based on the concept of Industry 4.0 and aimed at the sustainable, flexible, efficient and customized manufacturing of new wood products with high added value.
